Planning your visit

Lodging, camping, and travel accommodations

Camping Option 1:  Oak Camp.  You can set up a tent at the S/F area!  Space is limited and it will be first come first serve. We will try to guide tent placement to maximize our space. RVs are also allowed, but there are no hookups. This is handy for the early morning race start. The area has a hydrant for water and pit toilets and porta poties. We will have generators running on the opposite side of the camp area for a good portion of the race so those runners and crew who are sensitive to noise may wish to bring ear plugs or stay elsewhere. There will also be runners through this area during the whole night. Camping is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.

Camping option 2: Pine Campground at Sand Ridge.  Just 1 mi from the S/F.  If you camp here you may have to park along Cactus drive on race day (unlikely, we have never run out of parking yet!), since the Oak Camp parking will be given priority for those staying there. This campground should be quieter.  Contact the park at 309-597-2212

Lodging and hotels nearby:  The closest hotels are in Pekin IL which is about 35 mins drive from the S/F area.
